BlueLight LED CIPP

Blue light inversion lining offers a truly NO DIG solution to rehab your failing sewer line. Unlike other methods of sewer rehab this is one of the only options that will leave your property untouched. Avoiding costly grass, driveway, and landscaping repairs from other methods.

The Advantages of Light-Curing CIPP Systems for Pipeline Rehabilitation

Pipeline rehabilitation is essential for maintaining the efficiency of infrastructure systems, and operators are constantly searching for cost-effective and time-saving solutions. One such solution is Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining, which has revolutionized the process. Light-curing CIPP systems, in particular, offer advanced benefits by utilizing light to cure the resin in liners, significantly reducing time, cost, and resource demands.

While many CIPP systems are available, HammerHead® Trenchless’ Bluelight LED CIPP system stands out for its innovative use of blue light wavelengths instead of traditional ultraviolet (UV) light. This cutting-edge system is specifically designed for non-pressure pipelines up to 150mm in diameter, making it ideal for various pipeline rehabilitation projects.

How the Bluelight LED CIPP System Works

The Bluelight LED system rehabilitates pipelines by installing a resin-saturated fabric tube that is inverted into an existing pipeline. Once expanded against the interior of the pipe, the system uses blue light to cure the resin. What sets this system apart is its use of the blue light wavelength (between 444 and 457 nanometers), which offers significant benefits to the curing process. This focused light range ensures faster and more precise curing, which improves the overall quality of the installation.

Additionally, the system provides installers with more working time between the liner's wet-out and curing stages, as the resin does not harden until exposed to the blue light. This flexibility minimizes time pressures, making the process more efficient. Once the liner is in place, an automated curing system pulls the LED light head through the liner, curing the resin almost instantly—up to five times faster than traditional methods.

Versatile and Reliable

The Bluelight LED CIPP system is highly versatile, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including storm and sanitary sewers, drainage systems, vents, and other piping. Its design also allows it to navigate 45- and 90-degree bends, offering flexibility for challenging installations. The system is resistant to sewage and acid, ensuring long-term durability.

Innovative Features That Enhance Productivity

The Bluelight LED CIPP system is packed with features to maximize productivity. These include interchangeable reels, which allow operators to continue working if a reel requires servicing, and a lightweight, portable design that facilitates transportation between job sites. The system also comes equipped with an automated pullback system controlled by an onboard computer, reducing human errors and ensuring a precise cure.

To further enhance usability, the system includes an integrated camera for real-time monitoring of the installation process and a touch-screen interface that allows operators to input job specifications easily and receive automatic pullback speeds.

In conclusion, the Bluelight LED CIPP system offers pipeline operators a faster, more reliable, and versatile solution for rehabilitation. Its advanced light-curing technology, combined with features that boost productivity, makes it a leading choice for a wide range of pipeline applications.

Happy Plumbing Customers

Geoff M.

I called Curtis to help me with a water heater that broke over the weekend. Curtis answered my call on a Sunday, and he was out to my home the next day to help. He and his apprentice were extremely professional and efficient, in addition to being very considerate and respectful of my home. I would strongly recommend Velocity Master Plumbing, and I will definitely call Curtis again for future work.

Katie C.

Very professional. Called for a second opinion on a few issues with our master bathroom. The previous plumbers told us we needed a new faucet to solve one of our problems. Long story short - Curtis expertly diagnosed the actual problem and fixed the issue without ever needing to replace our faucet. Also very friendly, down to earth, and honest. I rarely give reviews - but this company truly does deserve another 5 star review!
